When Axel turned and he saw the girl twirl for him, the bottom of the cloak flicking out around her, he grinned, laughing softly as she spun to a stop. “You look adorable,” He said, watching her play with the chains hanging over the material. He held up her dress and looked over it. “I don’t think I could fit into your clothes, though,” He muttered. “Unfortunately. I think my natural curves could really benefit from such a slimming dress.”

Kairi giggled and ran to him, throwing her arms around him. “Silly.” She teased, kissing him lightly on his lips. Kairi wanted to lay down. She was just a bit sleepy, but she mostly wanted any excuse to be with Axel. That was when the thought occurred..
“Axel..” She said, suddenly overwhelmed with anxiety and fear. Kairi and Axel had stumbled up on each other by chance.. What if he had to leave? She couldn’t really process that.. And she was terrified. “Are you..” She started, her voice cracking, “going to leave?”

He chuckled and slipped his hand over her cheek, brushing over it lightly. “I don’t have to leave yet,” He said, kissing her forehead gently. “But I will have to eventually, I wish I didn’t have to. But I still- ” He sighed and dropped his hand from her face to his sides. “I still need to find out who I am. I don’t remember anything,” He muttered, his voice getting quieter as he spoke. “All I remember is my name, I don’t know where I’m from, where I was planning on going, or how I ended up on this beach. I need to find those friends I think I’m looking for,” Axel sat down in the sand, with his legs crossed, steadying himself back on his palms and looking up at the sky. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I’m here and I’m glad I met you. But it’s horrible, just not knowing who I am.” He looked up at the girl, and patted the sand beside him, inviting her to sit down with him.
