Kairi nodded, looking at her feet. “I’m still sorry..” She murmured, she clung to his hand and shivered again, cursing herself as her teeth began chattering. “Axel..” She said pouting. “I know you’re warm and all,” she said looking up at him as they approached the tree, “but are you sure I can wear it?” She asked, giving him a concerned look. “I don’t want you to be cold either..”
"I’m sure, Kairi," He said, smiling and holding her closer to his side till they reached the tree. He grabbed his cloak off of the trunk and held it out for her to slip her arms into the sleeves. "Besides, I’d be warm naked, I definitely don’t need the cloak." He glanced around for the rest of their clothes, seeing them in a pile beside the base of the tree.
Kairi blushed, slipping her arms into his cloak. “Mmm..” She hummed. As Axel went to retrieve the rest of their clothes, Kairi zipped the cloak up. Due to Axel and Kairi’s height difference, it showed a good amount of her chest and shoulders. But it was warm, and it smelled like him. She wanted to just disappear into it altogether. Kairi giggled, waiting for Axel to turn around, when he did, she blushed and twirled for him, “what do you think?” She asked, fiddling with his cloak’s chains.
When Axel turned and he saw the girl twirl for him, the bottom of the cloak flicking out around her, he grinned, laughing softly as she spun to a stop. “You look adorable,” He said, watching her play with the chains hanging over the material. He held up her dress and looked over it. “I don’t think I could fit into your clothes, though,” He muttered. “Unfortunately. I think my natural curves could really benefit from such a slimming dress.”
